Settled in the 1920s by shipyard employees who worked on the Burrard Inlet, Pemberton is a small neighbourhood on the southwest side of the City of North Vancouver. Incorporated in 1956, the lower part of the community is overlooked by the Pemberton Heights bluff, the upper half of the neighborhood is referred to as Pemberton Heights. It's bounded by the Capilano River on the west, the Trans-Canada Highway on the north, and Marine Drive on the south, which offers quick access to West Vancouver, numerous shopping destinations and many other North Shore communities.
Pemberton's real estate is similar to most neighbourhoods in the area. While a few small character homes exist in Pemberton, the number of highrise apartments has steadily increased over the past few years. This includes the Woodcroft Estates, which is a group of high-rise apartments in the northwest corner of the community. Pemberton real estate has a much lower end to its range than many of the surrounding areas, with a market saturated with apartments and condominiums for sale. Prices for homes in Pemberton range from $254,000 to $1,198,000, and the median list sold price is $334,000. View Pemberton MLS® Listings
