Jonathan Fung spent weeks looking for the perfect place to call home.

The 28-year-old mortgage specialist had a wish list that included a great downtown location, good size condo and great price.

Fung found everything he wanted at Yaletown's Pacific Point.

"I bought a one bedroom and den that's 747 square feet that's a really good size," says Fung. "I hadn't found anything in my price range that was above 600 square feet that I liked."

Fung says he's really pleased with his new home, especially the high end appliances, laminate floors, wide open floor plan and expansive windows.

"Being close to downtown and the night life were also big selling points," Fung adds.

Pacific Point is an established building that underwent an extensive facelift.

"Nat ( Bosa) purchased the building last year and completely renovated the units," says Lisa Murrell, sales and marketing manager for Bosa Development. "These used to be rental units and now they are for sale."

Just a half block from the Seawall and David Lam Park, Pacific Point residences were entirely modernized, as was its grand double-height lobby and hallways, which were retrofitted with marble and wood paneling.

"It's going to give the entire building a new, contemporary life in what's become one of the city's most desirable neighbourhoods," adds Murrell. "It's probably the best deal in town, in an established building by Nat Bosa, who stands behind every one of his projects 100 per cent."

This coveted waterside address provides sweeping views of False Creek, the majestic North Shore Mountains and of the luminous cityscape.

Because the building is two-decades old, the residences are much larger than what buyers normally expect to see downtown.

The Pacific Point condos range in size between 450 square feet (studio layouts) to 1,678 square feet (for a two-storey penthouse suite). The one bedroom and den floor plans range between 700 to about 780 square feet, and the two bedroom and den range between 925 to almost 1,300 square feet.

Inside, Pacific Point homes truly blend timeless European finishes with contemporary West coast design. The extra-spacious interiors, designed by Cristina Oberti Interior Design, have a minimalist, clean uncluttered urban look and are designed with living in mind smart efficient energy and space saving features and spacious layouts, including impressively green sustainable flooring and cabinets.

The gourmet kitchens are equipped with imported Italian Armani Cucine cabinetry with soft-closed doors, stainless steel energy efficient appliances, polished quartz countertops, Quartz slab backsplash, to name just a few of its many features.

Pacific Point presentation centre is located at 1323 Homer St, Vancouver and is open daily from noon to 5 p.m. (except Fridays). Find out more.
