North Vancouver’s hot Lower Lonsdale neighbourhood is one of the most-searched areas on REW.ca and with good reason. The community is packed with restaurants and shops, walking distance to Lonsdale Quay, close to the mountains, and part of the North Shore’s illustrious network of trails. Like downtown Vancouver, which incidentally is a short 12-minute SeaBus ride away, housing in Lower Lonsdale is primarily comprised of condos, with 506 units sold in the last year. In the same timeframe, just 58 townhomes and 28 detached houses were sold. All homes types in the area spent 10 days or fewer on the market before being snapped up. Though the median price for a condo in Lower Lonsdale for the last year was $436,750, everyone monthly median condo price since February 2016 has exceeded this figure.
