Of the 65 per cent of the luxury condos already pre-sold at Vancouver’s Trump Tower, “most of the buyers are local, right from Vancouver,” according to Donald Trump Jr., son of superstar developer Donald Trump, reports Business in Vancouver.
He also told media that the three penthouses at the tower’s pinnacle will be priced from $20 million. The three-level penthouses come with private glass elevators and climate-controlled wine cellars and go up to 4,700 square feet in size.
The rest of the condos start at $699,000 for approximately 600 square feet.
Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump were in town October 28 to tour the glamorous half-twisting tower, which will house a hotel, spa and 217 homes, currently under construction on West Georgia Street.
Joo Kim Tiah, CEO of developer Holburn Holdings, admitted he was surprised that so many of the condos had sold to local buyers.
