The neighbourhood of Moody Park in the City of New Westminster centres on a multifaceted green space of the same name. In fact, the 23.78-acre Moody Park was the first park created after the incorporation of the city in 1860. While it originally offered a gun range, by 1908 the neighbourhood surrounding Moody Park was far too developed to allow such activity.
