The truth is that real estate isn’t about property. It’s about people.
Sometimes you love a place so much that it’s impossible to hide it. That’s what happens when Krista Lapp talks about Coquitlam - her eyes light up and a big smile takes over her face. This is a great asset for her clients, as her love for her city translates into a passion for finding them the right home.
We get to know this highly successful realtor in Season One of RealTours, as she guides Stephen Tadgh through the neighbourhoods of her adopted home.
The road to the mountain.
Born in Vancouver, Lapp soon moved to the Tri-Cities, with stops in Port Coquitlam and Port Moody before finally settling in the Burke Mountain area of Coquitlam. She kicked off her career in the world of communications and marketing, eventually starting her own web development and digital marketing company.
These skills have translated well into the real estate industry. It’s hard to think of a downside of having a marketing expert in charge of selling your home.

It's first understanding what you as a client are looking for and what's important. I will always give you my take on the community.
Coming out on top.
Lapp has spent the last seven years honing her skills and delighting her clients. She’s built an award-winning team alongside her husband, Josh, who she describes as being responsible for “strategy, planning and thinking about how to create an amazing, elevated experience for clients”.
That approach has landed her in the top one percent of realtors in Coquitlam and among the most successful in the Lower Mainland. Hundreds of families have worked with her to buy and sell their homes.
But it’s not all hard work. During her down time, you can catch Lapp grabbing a coffee at the Ibex Cafe in Burke Mountain or strolling the neighborhood with her ridiculously adorable Pomeranian, Midge.
