Champlain Heights is home to Vancouver's fifth-largest park, the 100-acre Everett Crowley Park, which was built on top of a former city landfill and named in honour of the late Everett Crowley, a prominent city planner and parks board commissioner.

The neighbourhood also includes Champlain Heights Community School, which was designed by internationally acclaimed Canadian architect Arthur Erickson.
