There is also an urban park, Beecher Park, between Springer Avenue and Delta Avenue. It has forested areas, a sports field, a playground and a hiking trail. Beecher's Creek, a habitat for local salmon that joins Still Creek, also runs through the park.

Brentwood Park is serviced by two new stations on the Millenium SkyTrain line, Brentwood Station and Holdom Station. There is also a busy bus loop from Brentwood Station to Nanaimo Station, The University of British Columbia, Kootenay Loop, Simon Fraser University and Metrotown.
