If you’re looking for a new home in BC this spring, you could find guidance and inspiration in the form of a reality television show airing from March 7.

Production company Cedarwood Productions describes Realty Reality as “a fun and quirky 13- part reality television series that takes viewers on a journey through unique homes in local BC hotspots.”

Taking in a wide array of BC properties, from sprawling Kelowna waterfront mansions to one-bedroom condos in downtown Victoria, the show explores the BC housing market with a focus on buying knowledge.

Each episode focuses on a different area with a new set of house hunters. With the help of local Realtors, the house hunters will view three homes that check off items on their wishlist. Also appearing in each episode will be different local experts offering a range of homeowner tips, from general upkeep to gardening to energy-saving techniques.

Cedarwood Productions said that the show “entertains and educates, while giving viewers a sneak peek into beautiful and unique homes around the province.”

Realty Reality will begin its spring season on CHEK TV on Saturday March 7 at 6.30pm. Its first episode will look at North Delta’s Sunshine Hills neighbourhood and will be hosted by local agents Randy Friesen and Monica Skrypnyk of Royal LePage Brent Roberts Realty. Friesen and Skrypnyk will return to host the show March 28 for its South Surrey episode.
