Before this update, filters could be clunky, slow and unintuitive, hidden away behind menus and sub-menus. Now, they are just a click away, bigger, easier to see and simpler to use. Want to look at homes with two to three bedrooms? Simply click that option. Need at least two bathrooms? Select the housing types and features you want to see.
Want to get even more into the nitty-gritty? Now it’s even easier to filter by square footage, price, the year a property was built and even the length of time it has spent on REW.ca. That way you can find fresh listings before they get popular, or fish out old listings that may be more open to negotiation. Looking to avoid leaseholds or craving the community nature of a co-op? Narrow down your search results even further with just a few clicks.
New design and search features on The Guide.
Finding a home is much more than properties and prices – it’s a journey that requires lots of knowledge, research and understanding. So, we’ve improved the look and feel of The Guide to help you discover the content you need to pick the perfect property.
Not only have we revamped and simplified our content categories to serve our audiences – Homeseekers, Professionals (like agents and mortgage brokers), Investors and more – but we’ve totally refreshed the search feature. Now, results pop up as you type, and they are much more relevant to the terms you enter.
We’ve also updated our recommendation algorithm, so you’ll start to see articles, market guides, videos and more based on what you’ve searched for in the past and where you are. Your suggested content will be far more relevant to your Homeseeker’s journey no matter what step you’re on.
