On behalf of the Unsworth family and Bridgeport Realty, Fotenn was a key part of the multi-disciplinary team that organized the phased development plan for two parcels of land flanking both sides of McRae Avenue, south of the Scott Street intersection in Ottawa. In addition to our role in the development and design plan, Fotenn also led all municipal planning approvals for the development within Ottawa. This high profile redevelopment will take place within the vibrant community of Westboro Village, mere steps from the Westboro Transit Station and Ottawa River. The comprehensive development involves redesigning McRae Street into a pedestrian-friendly thoroughfare. Phase 1 of the development will accommodate residential condominium units above the relocated Alterna Bank as well as a new Farm Boy retail food store. Upcoming development phases will entail additional retail, office and residential uses in the area.
