The market wasn't great when we were looking for our first townhouse especially with Covid lurking around every corner but Rod's persistence allowed us to see several places. We found one we loved and he fought for us to get the deal done. The mortgage broker he recommended was also great and made this whole process easier for us. He kept us updated and educated so we could make the best decisions. We will be using him again when we sell!

I think Rod is a 5 out of 5! I found him to be very comfortable to be with as soon as we met. He answered my requests to look at specific condos or any other concerns promptly and efficiently. I never felt his first priority was to make a sale and that was important for me. No pressure - honest opinions - knowledgeable in his field. I believe the purchase I made will be where I stay until the end of my time - but if I had to sell or buy again I would definitely use Rod and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Rod! I searched the internet to find someone who advertised as being knowledgeable in the condo market in our area. Rod Friesen's name came up among others. I looked at reviews and all appeared favorable, so I contacted Rod at Sutton West Coast Realty. Shortly thereafter, we met Rod in our home and conversed, so that we could get to know each other and to view our condo. He seemed to have grasped what we wanted to accomplish by moving to another location. Though we put our place on the market during the slower months with little activity, Rod took us to view places he thought would be of interest to us. Through this process, I believe he was able to help us to firm up, and for him to visualize what we were hoping to find. Understanding which ideals we were willing to give up and/or exchange for another in our current financial reality also became clearer. We always felt Rod had our best interests in mind. He was friendly but, factual during discussions of current market conditions and he encouraged us to make decisions based on those conditions.
