My experience with Andrew and Jill was excellent. Andrew was knowledgeable about the Kerrisdale area and knew we needed to have the property checked for an oil tank. Unfortunately there was one buried in the back yard. Andrew was there to help with this drawn out and extensive excavation. He continued to touch base with me and was available for any and all of my questions, usually getting back to me within an hour. A few weeks before the property was ready to sell, he put out a “coming soon” notice, then once the property was ready, it was on the market. He got us over asking and a quick closing date, both of which we wanted. He is personable, knowledgeable, and professional and I would highly recommend Andrew and Jill. We will be using them again.

As a first time homebuyer with a limited budget and little real estate knowledge, the Vancouver market was extremely daunting to navigate. I was referred to Andrew & Jill by a close friend with a very positive experience and I am so glad to have made the choice to go with Team Hasman. Right from the initial call with Andrew & Jill I felt in the driver's seat, but adequately supported with their decades of industry experience. From our initial call to solidifying an offer on my dream home took only 3 weeks, which was way faster than I could have expected. They were reassuring and clear, patiently supporting and addressing all of my questions. After the offer was accepted, through subject removal and prior to the completion date, Andrew & Jill were readily accessible and quick to respond to any and all questions. They recommend an outstanding inspector and notary in addition to quickly working with my mortgage broker to get everything sorted as fast as possible to meet various deadlines. They ensured I had everything covered ahead of my completion date, including recommending an insurance broker, and reminding me of other important items to coordinate (i.e. organizing internet and utilities). They took time to make sure they understood my hopes for the property when I moved in, as well as future options for modifications, and provided a list of top tier recommendations for work I intend to do in the future. When they take on a client, Andrew and Jill are fully committed to ensuring that everything is a positive experience. They work extremely well together so that they're both always apprised of what is going on, to the point where I could communicate with either one and know that the important information would be passed along to the other. They were quick to respond to any message by email, phone or text, making communication effective in and amongst my own busy schedule. It should not be news to anyone that the real estate market in the Greater Vancouver area is highly competitive. So when I was interested in buying a condo, my friend recommended Andrew and Jill Hasman for their exceptional service, knowledge and expertise in the real estate market. As a first-time home buyer, I had a lot of questions, and Andrew and Jill were always extremely prompt at answering my questions. But because the housing market is so competitive (even more so than I had originally realized) Andrew and Jill understood the importance of acting fast, while simultaneously guiding me through the process with patience. I don't want to over-exaggerate at how competitive the home-buying process felt at first, but to me, it felt nothing short of intense and stressful. But now, after having completed the purchase, and having a moment to reflect and look back at the overall process, I am so glad and grateful that Andrew and Jill was there working alongside with me throughout the whole process, and alleviated the stress of buying a home. Andrew Hasman is the consummate professional realtor - he was incredibly helpful, always available and with lots of sage, commercial advice about the Vancouver market. Andrew is a pro who takes care of you. Our property was not within the Lower Mainland but we engaged Andrew and Jill anyway based on their reputation. Andrew straightened out an agent who was trying to impress his client with a low-ball offer. He got the deal done, to the satisfaction of both seller and buyer.

Both Andrew and Jill are very dynamic and energetic agents with great insight and advice on the Vancouver market. They always follow the instruction of their client, but at the same time cautions his clients against making the same mistake of his previous clients. They got a property sold so fast once it was staged that the people who staged the property could not believe how quickly it got sold. I tell you that I am impressed how quickly the offers came in and that is saying something. They do great work if the client takes their advice, but one should ask him to shop around for more staging quotes before agreeing to stage the property. He knows some pretty expensive staging company.

Andrew and Jill were highly responsive and helpful from our first contact with them. I don't think we could have found better realtors anywhere. They were simply amazing! They listened carefully to want we needed and did their best to match properties to our particular specifications and budget. They knew the area extremely well and were aware of what to look for, and what to look out for. They pointed out any potential problems during viewings, and also commented on the advantages of certain properties. My husband and I live in a different province (Alberta) and were purchasing a property with our young adult daughter - a home for her in Vancouver. The Hasmans arranged countless viewings with our daughter, and always followed up with us afterwards. We felt they were looking out for all of us, which we were especially appreciative of since my husband and I could not view the properties ourselves. They were bth proactive and fully involved in every step of the process. When it came to making an offer, Andrew carefully walked us through the process and outlined what would happen afterwards. Once our offer had been accepted, they put us in touch with a great lawyer, and checked in continually until closure. During this time they also checked in with our daughter to make sure she had insurance, internet, utilities etc sorted out. They also were able to recommend tradespeople, should we wish to make any later alterations to the property. I cannot recommend the Hasmans highly enough.
