We decided to move during COVID...crazy right. Called Brent, and he came over on a Wednesday we listed our place, Ruth came by to help stage, Photos and Drone were also on Thursday, first offer Friday with another 6-8 showings Saturday and multiple offers. Unfortunately Brent was out of town so got to meet Darren who guided the offer and counter offers, he concluded the negotiations and we had a no subject offer over list! Darren and Brent are real pros! I would certainly recommend them.

It’s hard to find honest realtors who will make you feel at ease, and Brent went the extra mile to always keep us in the loop and answer every question we had, even if it was at 11pm. If you’re reading this you’re probably trying to decide whether or not to use Brent and Darren has your realtor. Let me just start by saying, I don’t like realtors! I’ve never had a great experience, But!! then I met Brent. I texted him at 11 pm on a Friday night wanting to view a house, he had a viewing lined up for Saturday afternoon at 5 PM. We wanted to put in an offer, he said “let’s put in a conservative one and let me do my thing” So we did. Three days later we had an accepted offer WELL under asking. Next we have to sell our house in two weeks!! We’re pretty stressed at this point, Brent says let’s price it conservative “it’ll get a lot of action” he said. So we did. The next day an interior designer shows up to help stage the house, the day after a photographer with the drone and the day after that somebody doing a digital measurement to make sure that we are maximizing our square footage. We listed on Friday afternoon and he sold our house in three days 16 showings with 7 offers and 5 over asking. So to answer your question should you hire Brent and Darren? It’s a No Brainer, Yes!!!

Top notch. Brent was amazing from start to finish. On the initial coffee meeting a year before purchase he was patient, understanding, and offered great advice. He was honest and not quick to apply pressure when we weren't ready. He was diligent in following up to make sure we were all on the same page which through a long process with two buyers was important to do. He told us when a house was worth asking and he told us when it wasn't. He was honest about aspects of the home that would be a good fit for us and the aspects that weren't. He gave great advice in the offers we made on several houses. Together with his team they have a vast knowledge of real estate in the valley which makes it easy to trust them and not second guess their advice. They are true pros. They treat you like family and do whatever it takes to ensure your comfort throughout the process. Go for a coffee, you will quickly see what I mean.

We decided to list our property back in July 2019 with Darren and during the brief time that we had it listed, Darren was great in keeping in constant contact with us for showings. We only had a couple of showings due to us getting cold feet and deciding after a couple of weeks not to sell then since it just didn't feel right and both Darren and Brent were great with that decision. It was a tough decision, but in December 2019 we decided to list once again and Darren helped us find our forever home that we just LOVE in Abbotsford. We worked with Brent this winter when we sold our condo and moved to a townhouse. Brent made the process (which should of been stressful) easy! He took care of everything and went above and beyond what I would of ever expected a realtor to do! We had worked with another realtor in the past and we were blown away by the difference. My husband and I recently purchased a home in Langley, BC that was represented through Darren Leffers of Royal Lepage. Throughout the sales process our agent experienced challenges on multiple occasions trying to get a hold of Darren. Sometimes we never even received a response. Darren did not meet the terms outlined in the sales contract, including having the home professionally cleaned and making some repairs as promised. Upon possession, the home was dirty - full of cobwebs, had a pile of dead worms and bugs in the closet, the washing machine was molded, the shower and bath fixtures were covered in soap scum, and the home was covered in dust. We’re disappointed that Royal Lepage does not hold their agents to a higher standard of service and professionalism. Darren was happy to wash his hands with the sale of this home. With over 25,000 licensed real estate professionals available in BC, I wouldn’t recommend Darren to represent anyone as their agent and appalled with the quality of work this agency holds their name to.
