We have used Cindy twice to buy and sell homes now. Cindy and her Team have done an excellent job for us both time on the sale and purchase.

Never before has a realtor made me feel so at ease. Cindy and her team are so dialed in and on the ball during every step of the process. I knew we were in good hands and didn't have to worry about anything. My husband and I have worked with Cindy a number of times and always had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. It goes without saying that Cindy will be our realtor for life.

When the time came four our wife and I to sell our home and find another, again, with no hesitation we reached out to Cindy Gering and her brother David. I could say many nice things about the service they provided, again... even after we'd moved in. But perhaps it would be best to provide one example, since the episode involved says much about David's and Cindy's character. During our latest house-hunting journey we found a condo building that we especially liked. Two units were available when we first discovered the building, then a third. We offerred on the first two, but were beaten to the punch. That turned out to be a very good thing in hindsight, because of what happened soon after we told Cindy and David that we were prepared to offer on the third unit, which was going for around the same price. Within hours of when we made it known that we were ready ro proceed, Cindy sent us a text letting us know that a fourth unit had just been listed in the same building. It was of comparable size and appeal, and was available for 35,000 less than what the other three units were selling for. To say the least, we were very excited to see the unit, which was quickly arranged. Long story short, we offered immediately and now live unit four which continues to surpass our great expectations. I share this story because character matters, and this episode demonstrates the kind of character that my wife and I have learned to expect of Cindy and David. Looking back, our experiences have led me to see three types of realtors. First, there are those gross incompetents who really don't care about clients at all, who don't act in a timely manner, who don't know much about the units they are showing, because they haven't bothered to learn, who really should be doing something else. Then there are those who do many of the right things, but in such a way that it becomes clear that they lack what the third type of realtor displays. This second type of realtor might wonder why Cindy would even dare suggest that we consider the fourth unit, since we were ready to move on the third and, of course, because closing on the fourth unit would result in less commission and more work. Had we gone with a type two' realtor, my wife and I would surely be on the hook for an extra 35k bucks. Double or triple that about in terms of the extra interest we might also pay, and you have one example that shows why I have long since learned that it pays to sort out Life's type twos from type threes. What sets the third type of realtor apart, is their ability to combine competence with genuine caring. Because they had proven to be caring and competent realtors the first time around, we basically doubled Cindy and David's commissions in advance, through the act of going with them again. Needless to say, they did not let us down. Accordingly, we are happy to heartily recommend David and Cindy Gering to anyone who is looking to buy or sell their home. Clients on both sides of the transaction need allies,caring people who try to understand their needs, rather than just go through the moves in order to make a commission.
