Dave Koszegi*

A veteran of the industry, Dave opened his boutique Brokerage in Port Alberni to better assist his clients through the complex real estate regulations that came into effect in 2018. He is easily recognized with his CTV commercials, billboard, bus benches and fleet of wrapped vehicles seen throughout the Valley and beyond. In 2020 Dave received the Luminary Award of Distinction recognizing him as a Top Seller Worldwide (.07% of 125,000+/- REALTORS®).

Other achievements include Transaction Award in 2018 for Top Team in BC (RE/MAX Western Canada) and the RE/MAX career awards: Circle of Legends, Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement. He has consistently remained in the Top 100 with RE/MAX Western Canada and top producer in the Alberni Valley for 20+ years. He also holds the Accredited Commercial Professional (ACP) and Global Marketing Agent (GMA) designations.

“I love the Alberni Valley,” he says. “We have the best lake in the province, a small-town friendliness, and it’s a safe place to raise a family. As a kid I worked at the local building supply store, where I learned about housing and construction materials and met many folks here in the community.”

Today, he lives on Sproat Lake with his wife and three children and giving back to the community is at the heart of everything he does. He volunteers on the PAC for Ecole des Grands-cedres (elementary school), sits on the Government Relations Committee for the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board as well as two local Bands and was a past member in the Mayor's Advisory Council. In addition to supporting the local West Coast General Hospital, on the sale of every home, Dave donates a proceed to the Children's Miracle Network, which supports local hospitals in our communities.

Dave always makes family a priority and loves spending time with them outdoor camping and exploring all of beautiful Vancouver Island.

Fun Fact: He is a vintage car enthusiast and hobbyist and always has some interesting projects (and stories!) up his sleeve.
