We used Melissa Grant when selling our Gibsons home very recently! We really put her to the test and she stepped up and met each challenge throughout our journey of selling our home. First we had to list just days before Christmas and with no notice at all she made it happen with her photographer. Listing at Christmas is not easy nor is the early months of the year on the Sunshine Coast but we had already found out dream home in the Okanagan and had to get Gibsons sold my Feb 28 ideally since we had already booked movers! Anyway after two failed offers that fell apart, not from Melissa’s lack of trying and hard work, she really tired hard to make things work with the potential buyers which included ALOT of her own time to get things done that were demanded. In the end we moved and left our home empty on Feb 28th. Now she was faced with showing an empty home, she stepped up to that and helped us arrange a landscaper to help but also went down before each and every showing to sweep the deck, ensure all lights were turned on etc, she really made sure it was I great shape. She also went back after each showing to ensure the home was locked up. When the home wasn’t selling and we weren’t getting anyone one to view the home we had a crazy idea of adding a 3rd bdrm, I spoke to Melissa at length about this and she was able to give some unique perspectives and we (as a group) all decided it was a good idea! When it was completed she arranged again for a photographer to come in, which she paid for and wouldn’t you know it the home sold within a few days. I have to say I wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend Melisa Grant again if you are looking to buy or sell on the Sunshine Coast, this is a realtor that not only knows her stuff but is willing to to go above and beyond for you. And she actually cares…..that can certainly be a rarity these days. Thanks again Melissa!
