Born in Toronto; Alan relocated to the West Coast at a young age. He has now called Vancouver home for over 18 years and is in love with how the city and the beauty of nature, exist as one. He is a city boy at heart but has grown to love the outdoors and everything mother nature provides.

Alan is the Founder of VANCITY 4 SALE, a Real Estate business based out of Vancouver. He separates himself in the marketplace by working closely with his clients to achieve their goals through carefully crafted strategies, catered to their specific needs from beginning to end. Some of Alan's biggest accomplishments thus far in his career have been the numerous ongoing relationships with a wide array of clientele. In just 7 short years in the business, he has personally sold over $130 million in real estate transactions and well over $240 million in team sales, with the focus always being on the client goals and objectives.

On his off time, you can find Alan with the three joys of his life; his rescue dogs and cat. He also donates his time to animal-related causes, something he is incredibly passionate about. He's actively involved in rescuing dogs in Southern California, where the CRISIS of abandonment has led to overcrowded shelters and heartbreaking euthanizations. To date, Alan has saved 19 dogs in under two years, within hours of being put down to no fault of their own, through his direct efforts. Want to make a difference? When trying to figure out what realtor you want to work with, let’s be honest, they’re a dime a dozen so it isn’t necessarily easy. I asked Alan to list my rental property (and former home) because his passion for his work was obvious. He also married a good friend of mine. Having said that, the reason I have chosen to work with Alan again to purchase a new townhome and to sell my existing residence is because of the great work Alan provided. Alan is a realtor that sets himself a part by doing all the extra’s that many ‘too busy’ realtors don’t do (trust me when I say Alan is also very busy, it’s hard to keep up with the multiple listings and sales he’s always posting). My rental sold the first open house weekend. I strongly believe the fast sell was largely because of Alan’s extra’s (to my lament the first open house weekend happened to land on a heavy forest fire smoke weekend and one of the features was a view). Firstly, Alan invested in great marketing. He used a great photographer (I believe this was a huge factor in my quick sell). Generally speaking, Alan makes himself available (my deal reached agreement near midnight on a Sunday) and is very prompt. He does not boast a giant ego and treats his clients the same whether it’s a 500K deal or multimillion dollar deal (I know because my deal was on the low end of the spectrum). Real estate transactions can be very emotional, he is easy to talk to, helpful, kind and is good at setting expectations. In addition, Alan is truly knowledgeable about his industry. I’ve asked him questions for friends in other markets and he’s always happy to quickly help despite the fact he’ll never be a part of those transactions. In fact, his passion and industry knowledge is what initiated my next-home townhouse purchase when I wasn’t even looking! (and which I am very excited about!) If you want your best interests to be considered for what is most likely your biggest and most personal investment, then I highly recommend working with Alan.

A ONE-STOP-SHOP TO GUIDE US THROUGH THE PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH Alan was referred to us by friends who bought their first two homes with his assistance. Being first-time homebuyers ourselves, we needed a lot of help. He was a one-stop-shop to guide us through the process from start to finish, taking the time to answer questions whenever needed. He made the home buying experience fun with his friendly demeanor, and then when it came to the late-night negotiations he was in it to win for us. We found our perfect home in an older, spacious condo in North Van we would update to exactly how we wanted it. Whatever you are looking to do with your new home, he has an extensive network of high-quality connections to help you out…from the home inspection to the lawyer to many various tradespeople, he probably knows a guy for that.
