With over 17 years of local real estate experience including all property types and price points, Andrew’s primary focus is understanding his clients’ goals and concerns, and then serving them beyond their expectations. Andrew is a multiple MLS award winner and has received the MLS President’s Award honouring his integrity and dedication to his clients. He served on the Board of Directors of the Victoria Heritage Foundation from 2012-2016 and has had a passion for Victoria’s older homes since. He created the site victoriacharacterhomes.com in 2018 to help enthusiasts of character & heritage homes find and market properties. Andrew owes much of his success to his base of loyal repeat clientele, and he will tailor his personalized services with the hope of becoming your life-long real estate consultant.

Past & Personal:

Previously a French teacher (University of Victoria graduate), Andrew places a very high value on communication and education when working with clients. He combined his interests in education and business in 2003 in Taiwan where he opened a chess school which still runs today. Outside of his work Andrew is a dedicated family man; he is proactively involved in his daughter’s martial arts and studies at UBC and his son’s education and soccer involvement at Pacific FC’s junior Wave program. He and his wife enjoy hiking and camping with the family throughout Vancouver Island. The Hobbs family sponsors a boy named Abel in Malawi through SOS Children’s Villages.
