Caronne Marino*

After graduating from UBC with a degree in Human Kinetics and Marketing, and living in Hawaii and Japan, I moved to Whistler in 2000 to work for Intrawest Resort Club Group.
It didn’t take long to realize that there’s truly no place like Whistler. It’s not just the sheer beauty of this area or the fact that it’s the #1 ski resort world wide but also the culture, the international population, the close knit community and the local families and friends, that make me so proud to call this place home.
I worked with the vacation ownership division of Intrawest for 7 years. I quickly rose from a Marketing Representative, to Resort Marketing Manager then on to become the youngest Director of Marketing at IRCG at that time.
In 2007 I decided to leave the corporate world to start a family. I purchased a local business that serviced thousands of families from all over the world and becoming an entrepreneur enabled me to be with family and work from home. Over the 7 years that I owned and operated the business, I doubled the revenues while significantly increasing the client base and the level of service offered.
My passion for people, my experience in Resort Real Estate and Marketing combined with my negotiation skills, experience as an entrepreneur and being from a family of builders and renovators has inevitably led me to the real estate industry.
I am very familiar with investment and rental properties in Whistler as well as building, marketing and selling spec homes. I have a proven track record of integrity and success and I strive to identify opportunities in the real estate market.
