The Sharp Real Estate Group was founded and is led by award winning Vancouver Real Estate Agent Jay McInnes. Sharp is based in Downtown Vancouver Canada at Oakwyn Realty Ltd. Jay was born and raised in Vancouver + started his career here in 2007. Jay has been our go-to realtor for the past 10 years. We’ve bought and sold many places together and never regretted a choice to go with him. Besides being super friendly and personable as all the other reviewers have indicated, he’s low-pressure, very chill, and always brings his AAA game. If you are buying, Jay brings a wealth of experience, showing you what to look for and what to avoid, and especially if you are looking at condos, what buildings to avoid. His analytical mindset helps you know if you are paying the right dollar/sqft for the area, what the bidding landscape looks like, and when/why to push back. And if you are selling, Jay really shines. He brings a deep knowledge of how to price your property and has the best marketing tools, photos, and videos in the business. My father’s a retired realtor so my bar for these things is high, and I can get commission-free real estate services from friends and family in the business, but I go with Jay every time, because the quality of the marketing Jay brings allows me to get a price far higher than his commission, and far easier too. Anyone who's sold a property knows that cleaning your place for a showing and leaving at a set time can be a pain. He sold our most recent place for the exact (and very high) price we wanted in 3 days, which meant that the showing process was a minimal disruption in our lives. His videos in particular are so good we ask to keep them after the place is sold. Most importantly, he’s super easy to get along with and a hard worker too. He’s answered midnight emails minutes after I’ve sent them and even responds (and writes offers) while on vacation overseas. I can’t recommend Jay enough, he’s one of the best in the business for sure.
