We are return customers! This is the second property that Nicola has helped us purchase. Just as the curve of Covid was flattening, my husband and I decided that we were ready to sell and find a larger home. We reached out to Nicola to see if it was the right time to sell and she responded quickly and we got the ball rolling. Nicola and her team are wonderful and professional. Covid protocols impacted the process this time around. Rather than having a typical open house, Nicola arranged by appointment only for the weekend. There was one colleague at the front door checking everyone in and ensuring they had their masks on. Prior to entering the suite they put booties on and had their hands sanitized. Once the appointments were over for the day, Nicola and her team cleaned and sanitized all surfaces (just in case someone happened to touch something). We had the utmost confidence in Nicola and her team that our families would be safe. We luckily received multiple offers. Nicola reviewed each offer with us and in turn we chose the offer that was best for us. On to the buying process. Our budget was tight for what we were looking for, but Nicola was able to find a number of properties for us to look. There were two properties that we offered on through this process. The first was great. We all walked in and couldn’t believe the value of the house. We offered and it was a multiple offer situation as well. We were in the top but lost because the other offer had no conditions. The second house is a renovators dream. The bones were amazing. We offered on this house, under asking and there was some back and forth but in the end the offer was accepted. The back and forth took longer than we anticipated. Covid impacted communication with the seller which drew the process out. Nicola is supportive and kept our expectations in line with out budget when we were buying. She recommended that we touch in with our mortgage broker to run scenarios for financing on different options as we got further into the buying process. Her team is amazing as well. They were educated on the houses we were looking at and able to answer questions as we walked through the properties. We would absolutely work with Nicola again and recommend her to everyone we know that is looking to buy or sell.
