In 2010 we started laying the ground work to downsize for retirement. Some realtors would not show us properties they had listed unless we agreed to use them for the purchase. Then we met Carolyn who had a listing in a Condo we were interested in and promptly saw it, without conditions. We mentioned we were also interested in a unit in another building and she told us to meet her there in 10 minutes. She had the unit’s key but there was no main door Fob! She rang a former client who lives in the building and, instead of simply buzzing the door open, the lady came down to personally let us in and get a chance to say hi and give a hug to Carolyn. We tried buying and selling a few times over the years but the spectre of the 2008 downturn was too strong. But time and again she would refresh us as to the market conditions and seeing more probable Condo locations. In 2016 we finally made the plunge after throwing her a curve by adding a pooch to our family. Carolyn handled the sale our house, and the purchase of our condo. Her warmth and patience has endeared her to us and we prefer to think of her as our friend instead of our realtor.
