Salt Spring Island is my home.

My family moved to Salt Spring when I was 15 and established Island Garbage Express, the island’s first residential garbage collection business, that was more than 30 years ago. Growing up here, including working at the local golf course and BC Ferries, gave me lasting community connections and a genuine appreciation for island life.
