Amir helped choose a great presale property for me as an investment and great place to live. His insight, knoledge and connections helped me get the perfect place and make the process as smooth and easy as possible. My situation was tricky with closing on the property but him and his connections managed to put in exta effort to help as much as possible, absolutely recommend 10/10.

We decided 3 weeks ago the time was right for our family to take the leap and buy a first time property... We were completely overwhelmed and unsure of were to start. After an informative zoom call with Amir, we knew exactly how the buying process worked, and what to do and expect. He is super professional, punctual and replies to questions and concerns very promptly. As a mortgage broker, I have personally met with & worked with hundreds of Realtors over the years. Amir Shojaee is simply the best of the best, there's no better way to say it. The qualities I could list are endless, however, there are two which stand-out the most, and are at the greatest significance when choosing a Realtor. Negotiation Skills: As a Certified Negotiation Expert not only does Amir understand various types of negotiation strategies to help you achieve the best realistic price, but more important WHEN & HOW to use each of these strategies. I've personally seen him strategically vary his approach when dealing with developers, with industry professionals, and with service providers. Its not only the dollar figure, its the aspects of the contract that matter at the time of singing, and until closing/completion. Need an additional day for subject removal to get your financing? Do you require a change of closing date? Although nothing is guaranteed, Amir puts forth the strongest effort possible to make it happen. He's personally done so for me, and endless mutual clients we have. Education/Knowledge: Street smarts, and book smarts. His hands-on experience from hundreds of transactions which vary from: development land, luxury detached homes, First-time home-buyer condos, and the perfect family style townhouse (across all cities of the Lower Mainland + Fraser Valley), provides him the personal experience of how to handle each transaction type. From an academic education experience, I've never met (nor seen) a Realtor more accomplished. A baseline degree of Masters in Engineering & Construction Management from UBC, complimented with numerous certifications such as Senior Real Estate Specialist, and Accredited Buyer Representative further back his brain power. Ask Amir what he is studying for now, there aways seem to be something new. You won't realize how important educational book knowledge is until a very specialized situation randomly appears in your transaction (e.g. the long-term zoning plan for your property, legal justification of asking for a change in contract term, an unexpected life change).
