Imagine, Believe & Achieve. I am continually driven by two questions. "What if" and "Why not". I apply these questions to all areas of my life and continually to my most patient husband. I love the opportunity each day brings. My business is people, and connecting them to what they want.

It's forever challenging and extremely rewarding. After all, in the end, it's the positive connections we have made with others, which leaves us with a successful life lived. Most often it's the smaller things we do on a continual basis daily which have the most impact in all areas of our lives - that's pretty cool, cause we can all make a very big difference with a little focus everyday.

What is your perfect idea of happiness?

Uncontrollable laugher at the dinner table with family and friends.

Which historical figure do you identify with?

Walt Disney for his incredible imagination and vision and ability to create and bring pleasure to so many.

What trait do you most deplore in yourself?

My addiction to chocolate.

What trait do you most deplore in others?

Rigidity.

What is your most treasured possession? My Apple Watch - Have to admit I'm very attached to it because through it I can learn, explore, create, communicate, entertain, work and even get the news and weather!

What is your greatest achievement?

Starting from scratch and raising my three kids on my own at the ripe old age of 26. I'm so proud of each of them and now I get to work with Brenden & Dana building our successful award winning real estate business! Tara wisely supports from the sidelines. There is nothing more important than family,(and a laptop).

I'm social by nature. As a child, my family was humoured by my ability to make friends anywhere and everywhere. This skill is an instrumental contribution to enabling an insider's perspective within my chosen profession - Real Estate - where I negotiate the terms and concerns of our client's interests and deal with people, of all sorts and in a wide variety of situations. Understanding people is the key - and that's my invaluable strong point! The home was and is a big part of who I am. It's the center of family, of individual development and of our communities. I'm privileged to play a vital role in assisting people as they navigate through homeownership.

I take a keen interest in the market, getting a handle on the ebb flow, trends, and the opportunities which change daily. Having grown up on the Northshore, I have a deep understanding of the values and unique aspects of each neighbourhood. Plus I've pretty much played on every ball field and basketball court it has to offer! I'm continually finding balance between my growing family with my daughter and twin boys and our family business.

My personal and professional experiences have equipped me with the initiative, passion, competency, and commitment necessary to succeed, and gets me up at 5 am every day! Fuelled and fed through my sports background; a need to win for my clients. I know it's the little things done consistently well which ultimately lead to success.

Brenden loves basketball, was MVP in high school and now coaches grade 8s at Sutherland High.

If not at work, or being dad, Brenden can be found working Crossfit like nobody's business.

Dana Torrell-Designated Buyer's Agent

I'm an all in sort of person. I just can't help myself. When I'm involved in something I care deeply about then I'm on it - and I like to be put to the test. This intensity was rooted into my character from the day I was born (my mother verifies this), so you've got to take what you've been given and make the very best out it.

I put my all into my studies earning my BBA at Capilano University, with a focus on Marketing, including a semester at State University of New York. Faced with the same question every graduate has to consider "Now what"? I naturally turned to my passion for good food and fine wine. Starting out with a fledging event catering company here in Vancouver, Truffles Fine Foods, I successfully bid and won several large contracts during the 2010 Olympic season and helped kick start the company, which is now one of the most successful in Vancouver. I then tested and honed my sales skills in the wine industry - gaining my level 2 towards sommelier certification, and managing over 100 accounts in the Greater Vancouver area - but all the while the family real estate team was beckoning me.

Realizing my true passions were entrenched in my home on the North Shore and with the people who share my community with me, I combined my energies into the already wildly successful Andrews Group team and have not looked back. I love connecting with the needs of our clients and have carved out a role as the designated buying agent on our team. As you might expect, I've put my all into the position embracing the new technologies continually swarming our industry. I'm committed to creating a new "paperless" buyers program and know I can make a difference in our business while doing my part to help save our world.

When I'm not out touring properties or mapping market trends, I make time to run the trails, hike our mountains, ride my motorbike, and try out a new restaurant or enjoy home cooked meals with family and friends... with of course, a glass of fine wine :) I think Albert Einstein might have been thinking about me when he said "Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value". I'd love it if you'll put me to that test.

Fun Facts

Where is your favourite got to lunch spot?

Buddhaful in north van. I love a place that focuses on local organic ingredients, and is vegan friendly.

Where is the coolest place you have visited?

I absolutely love being culture shocked, and being immersed in a local environment where tourism isn't so prominent. Ho Chi Minh City would be one of the most interesting places I've visited.

What is one of the most challenging things you have done?

A 10 day silent meditation retreat which was challenging both mentally and physically.

What words do you live by?

Take 100% responsibility for absolutely everything in your life, because you are in the driver seat and have the power to steer your life in any direction.

What is at the top of your bucket list?

Step foot on every continent in the world.

What is your favorite design style?

I love mid-century modern. I always keep my eyes out for unique vintage pieces from the 50's and 60's that I can refurbish.

Where would you love to retire to?

On my own vineyard in the Okanagan, Gulf Islands, or South America.
