Education & Other Business Experience
I completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, in Urban Land Economics (ULE) and Finance in 1986 at the University of British Columbia.My education entailed a 5 year comprehensive professional business degree, majoring in Urban Land Economics, which included the study of urban and real estate economics, valuation analysis, appraisal, finance, land-law and urban planning.As a successful entrepreneur, I specialized in startups, acting in the roles of Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer, Controller, and Director of private and public companies.I conceptualized and bought ideas to fruition, by developing successful businesses strategies, a very successful local Italian restaurant in 1983, several Tele-Communication & Internet companies in the 1990's, and an Internet related company which traded on the TSE Venture Exchange.I have over 35 years of business experience, competence and skills in marketing, negotiation, finance, business management and administration.
