Nathan Choi*

Born and raised in Vancouver, I come from a family with deep roots in real estate in both Vancouver and Hong Kong. Growing up in this environment shaped my understanding of the industry early on and instilled in me the importance of trust, integrity, and long-term relationships. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people on a personal level and believe the strongest client relationships are built on mutual respect, transparency, and partnership.

Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, I am mindful of the cultural nuances in lifestyle and business practices that influence every client’s journey. This awareness allows me to build meaningful, authentic connections that often grow into lifelong relationships.

Before real estate, athletics played a defining role in my life. I proudly represented Canada in badminton at international competitions, including the World Junior Championships and the Youth Commonwealth Games. Competing alongside athletes for whom sport was their only path forward was a powerful lesson in resilience, hunger, and determination. One particularly memorable experience was representing British Columbia at the 2011 Canada Winter Games, where I was surrounded by elite athletes from across the country. The dedication, discipline, and passion on display—from preparation through recovery—left a lasting impression.

The journey to becoming a national-level athlete is filled with both highs and lows, and those experiences shaped my mindset today: tough times don’t last, tough people do. That athlete mentality naturally carries into my real estate practice. I view every transaction as a team effort, working side-by-side with my clients from the very beginning to understand not just the transaction itself, but the impact it will have on their lives and their families.

Outside of real estate, I continue to live an active lifestyle. In my free time, you’ll often find me at the gym, on the pickleball or basketball court, or exploring new destinations through travel. Staying active and curious keeps me energized, focused, and grounded—qualities I bring into every client relationship.

Seeing the excitement, relief, and joy on my clients’ faces when we reach the goal we set together is why I love being a Realtor—it feels like winning a championship as a team.
