Introducing ReStores, a whole new way to shop and save on home improvement supplies.
Run by Habitat for Humanity, ReStore sells new and gently used customer returns that would otherwise end up in a landfill at 50 to 80 percent off retail prices. The best part, sales proceeds help build homes for families in need.

I started with Habitat for Humanity about four or five years ago.I think it’s a wonderful organization, I think it’s great to provide housing for people who can’t afford it. And it’s wonderful these companies that with product which they can’t sell and we can turn something they can’t sell into something that’s saleable. The money is good and goes to a really good cause to build more housing to people who can’t afford it.

We pretty much have everything that you would need for your home. There’s furniture, lighting, kitchens tiling, flooring. So anything that you would need to renovate or build a house. We have hardware and tools, decorating, blinds, shelving, bathroom fixtures, wallpaper, paint and hardware and lots of nails and screws. We carry a lot of lighting and plate covers for your switches, electrical cords, pretty much anything that you would need to build a house.

The best way for individuals to donate is either to give us a call at any one of the stores, speak to one of the managers, or,to go online to the website. That’s the best way to do it is to send photos of what it is that you want to donate to the managers, and then we have that to pass on to our procurement department.

Visit ReStore at one of their three convenient Lower Mainland locations. Vancouver on West 69th Avenue. North Vancouver on Harbour Avenue. Burnaby on Douglas Road.
