Creating an industry buzz in the highly desirable West Side single-family home market is a new speculative property built by high-end home developer Tavan Group and just listed for a cool $12.88 million – a considerable ask for a home outside the Shaughnessy enclaves and south of West 41st Avenue.

The 7,438-square-foot “Granville Manor” was unveiled to buyers and media at a VIP open house event November 5. REW.ca was in attendance and was lucky enough to get the full attention of Tavan Group principal Troy Van Vliet, who offered us a personal guided tour of the property.

The property, elegant yet inviting from the outside, was truly jaw-dropping in its interior proportions, craftsmanship, fixtures and finishings. But the real surprise was on the lower level…

Pictures speak a thousand words, so take a look at our captioned photo gallery above to get a sense of this remarkable home.

Update February 2016: the home has now sold but you can find more great homes in the neighbourhood for sale here.
