Kristina Legault

RealTours Top Performer award winner Kristina Legault, a REALTOR™ at Century 21 Creekside Realty (Luckakuck) in Chilliwack, BC has always loved houses and what goes inside them, whether that’s the decor or the people. Growing up, her mother also had a love of homes and they would work together to decorate each place they lived in. She still enjoys getting to peek at the layouts and aesthetics of homes today as an agent. While she previously worked in accounting, real estate felt like a natural fit to her thanks to her background, and she has eight years of experience to show for it.

As for winning RealTours Top Performer, Kristina says, “I think I was a little shocked. But it is always nice, and I think one of the nicer parts is that it is bringing some more attention to Chilliwack, which is great.”

Kristina also understands the stress and emotions Homeseekers face having moved multiple times throughout her childhood and as an adult. She explains, “Here’s my philosophy: life is stressful, you’re constantly having some sort of life situation thrown at you that you need to deal with and that includes moving. To me, moving is exciting and to help my clients get through the process and help them lower their stress is a role I can help with.”

Kristina finds joy in the entire process and acts as a trusted confidant and guide during what can be a tricky process. That’s why she’s available seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. If a client has questions or concerns, Kristina is ready to respond. As she says, “I'm fairly even keeled, and I know it will always work out.”

Kristina knows it can get stressful for Homeseekers, so she’s ready to help at any time.

When she’s not helping house hunters, Kristina can be found enjoying Chilliwack, including walking her three dogs around the various parks in Sardis, Garrison and Cultus Lake. She appreciates the connection to nature and old-growth trees combined with the easy access to amenities. “People who live here are typically outside the majority of the time,” she says.

Recalling her experience working on RealTours, Kristina says, “Another thing that's really nice is we have so much scenery, but using those snippets from putting the episodes together to use it in conjunction with highlighting the area. And of course, REW is such a big search engine and a lot of people visit your site.” Reflecting back on her time during filming, she notes it was, “Always a very professional experience, which I liked. And it was just a lot of fun.”

Kristina uses RealTours as part of her marketing strategy, too. She says, “as a real estate agent, you have all of those components of your marketing. The more touch points you have and the more you can show potential clients, past clients, current clients, clients who are considering hiring you again how you do your business – and then using all of the things that we put together with RealTours – and combining it together really helps us showcase that and also showcase our knowledge on the cities that we work in.”

When it comes to helping people find a home, Kristina sums it up by saying, “I think it’s the thrill of the hunt, and then the satisfaction of finding ‘the one.’”
