Mindy McPherson has built a lasting reputation as a leading real estate agent in BC for over 35 years. She serves Mission, Abbotsford and all of the Fraser Valley, Vancouver and beyond, and has plenty of satisfied clients to show for it. A firm believer in hard work and customer service, Mindy is always taking time to meet her clients’ needs, ready to answer a phone call or lend a helping hand. Mindy is a multiple award-winning agent and has received many accolades throughout the years for her work with clients.

Mindy’s sense of ambition and dedication started early in her life, according to her childhood friend Gail Harrington. Gail recalls a story in which Mindy wanted to buy a car and had a set price in mind. She marched into the dealership and said that she wouldn’t leave without the car at the price she wanted. Sometime later, she left in her new car. That drive to succeed explains much of Mindy’s journey in real estate. “Mindy's been at our house for dinner and she's off in the den making a deal. And she could be in there for two hours. She's making that deal. And she's making time for those people. And they don't even realize that she's out for dinner. She never stops. She never stops,” says Gail.

Mindy McPherson has left a lasting impact on both real estate and the people in her life.

Mindy has helped countless clients over 35 years in the real estate industry, but it’s her work with the community that’s made her a household name.

Rob and Rick Redekop can back that up. They’ve been long-time clients of Mindy, starting off as home builders who wanted to expand in the area. At first, Mindy brought up plenty of terms and policies they were unfamiliar with, but she helped explain how everything worked and they were able to finalize their first deal in the area. Ever since, the Redekops have continued to work with Mindy. As they say, “Mindy is a business person. Yes, that's the impression you would get. But she has a super warm heart. And, you know, when it's business, you just talk. When we are meeting for some kind of social event, you always get a big hug.”

Beyond real estate, Mindy has touched the lives of many people throughout the region. Emmy Skates, Chief Executive Officer at SARA for Women, a local non-profit feminist organization, says “when you have a community supporter like Mindy, it really inspires us to continue to do the work that we do.” But Mindy isn’t just a supporter in name only. She actually leases out the space SARA occupies at an affordable rate, ensuring that they can remain tenants and serve the community. Mindy offers more than money to her community, too. An avid fan of fresh produce, she makes her own juice that she pours into jars and distributes to others. She even takes the leftover pulp and makes muffins to hand over as a sweet treat.

According to Mindy’s son, Taylor, “Sometimes we like to say it's sort of lonely at the top, but deep down, she's just a normal human being. She likes to help people wherever possible. She does things for her clients that I think no other real estate agents will do to help them.” Growing up with Mindy’s success all around him, Taylor now says that getting into real estate himself put his mother’s hard work and perseverance into perspective. “I think there's probably tons of stories. I don't get to hear about them because she doesn't really brag about her victories and things like that,” he says. “She just goes about and does her business.”
