How does it feel to be an REW Real Estate Awards winner?

I think I was a little shocked. But it is always nice, and I think one of the nicer parts is that it is bringing some more attention to Chilliwack, which is great.

It shows that people are interested in moving a little bit further out, having a different type of lifestyle for a lot of people. You know, they still work closer to Vancouver, but with how work has changed, they're able to look at some other areas where they don't have to worry about commuting as much. It's a lot more relaxed and low key. It's not as busy. These are all the reasons why we moved out here, just to have a more relaxed kind of lifestyle and not so much busy-ness around you.

So I think a lot of that has also factored into why our episodes for Chilliwack and Cultus Lake have been viewed so many times.

How do you think winning this award will impact your journey in real estate?

I don't actually know how to answer that one, because I think it depends just on how we market it and push it forward to bring more people into looking at Chilliwack. Hopefully, it will be helpful that way, and just get some more eyeballs or more people aware from the award and looking out at this area.

As the winner of RealTours Top Performer, how was it working with REW on RealTours? Do you use RealTours as part of your agent marketing strategy? How so?

Always a very professional experience, which I liked. And it was just a lot of fun. It was very organized.

I think everyone did so much research into the areas to make sure that they also captured everything as best as they could and answered the right questions, but also knew what they were talking about when we were putting the episode together. So for both of them, I really enjoyed working with the team on producing the episodes. It was just a lot of fun.

I do. Just really trying again to highlight the city, everything that it has to offer. A lot of it, of course, being outdoors.

People who live here are typically outside the majority of the time. And I think another thing that's really nice is we have so much scenery, but using those snippets from putting the episodes together to use it in conjunction with highlighting the area. And of course, REW is such a big search engine and a lot of people visit your site. "

So it works very nicely in tandem to put those two elements together.
