It feels good knowing that part of the reason is because the REW system helped me greatly. The REW system definitely benefits my career because it gives me good leads

I think just the biggest thing is going to be for sure the amount of effort I've put in. Effort, diligence.

That and all the leads I get from REW. They're pretty hard to close a lot of the time. So then you have to put in a lot of effort researching the market and making sure you're fully prepared when you go. So, I think at the end of the day everything just boils down to how much work you're willing to put in.

I think probably, first of all, don't be scared to invest in yourself. My personal opinion is that a lot of times you have to spend money to be able to make money. And especially when you're brand new, it's a difficult pill to swallow to have to spend like several thousands of dollars every month on, you know, what is essentially a lead generation service.

But if you pair that with hard work and dedication, and you come to all of your meetings fully prepared, then your chances of success are much higher.

I came out of the gates and I registered for REW pretty much in like my second month of being licensed. And I started paying for Connect right away. You guys were very helpful because I have a lot of other friends who are agents who have more experience than I do in terms of the time they've been licensed. And so they've already farmed like the vast majority of our friends' circles. So I didn't have any referrals when I first started.

[With Connect] the fact that any lead that comes, it's like a warm lead because they have a specific property that they're wanting to look at. So then it's just a matter of getting them to meet me in person, and then showing them the value of my services right.

Well, I'm about to have a kid. I'm probably going to take a step back a little bit for the remainder of this year. So I have some other agents who are kind of helping me out with showings that are further away, listings that are further away.

So this year, I don't have any big plans on kind of growing the business, but I think for next year and onwards, potentially I might think about starting a team.

[I won] MLS Medallion Club in my first year, RE/MAX Rookie of the Year, MLS President's Club in my second year, MLS President's Club again my third year. So, Medallion Club is in the top 10% of all realtors in the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board. And then the President's Club is in the top 1%. So that was 2023 and 2024 for the President's Club and then 2025, nothing yet just because it's not the year is not over.
