Buying and selling real estate can be a very stressful time in one’s life and it is crucial to engage the services of a Realtor who is professional, honest, hard working, keeps their word and has their clients’ best interest at heart. This describes Darlene Reid! My first encounter with Darlene was while attending an open house in Sherwood Park; eventho I was not in the market to purchase. I did know from this experience without any doubt when I either sold or bought again, I would want the services of this realtor. The impression made stayed with me and I sought Darlene out when I decided to sell my house and purchase a condo months later. My initial instinct turned out to be so right on – Darlene took total care of my needs and the experience was so positive; throughout the process I was at complete ease and had full trust that Darlene would deliver – and she did! My 86 year old mother then decided to sell her house and I knew she had to be in the reliable and caring hands of Darlene. Once again, Darlene treated my elderly mom with such respect and understanding. Not only that, she really assisted my mom with the transition and treated her with such dignity. I have since recommended friends to Darlene. The experience with Darlene that is really amazing to me is I asked her to appraise and list my condo back in November 2009. Due to the market being such as it is, she was concerned I wasn’t making a sound financial decision and suggested an alternative solution. This solidified my belief that Darlene as a Realtor is one of a kind - one who would loose a potential commission; to give a client her best advice speaks for itself.
