Tsawwassen
Tsawwassen is a small community in the southwest corner of incorporated Delta. It is home to the Tsawwassen First Nation, the original inhabitants of the Lower Mainland region. The Tsawwassen, who have lived in the area for around 10,000 years, have their 700-acre reserve close to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
Tsawwassen also hosts Splashdown Park, a family-friendly waterpark with pools, a large hot tub, and waterslides. Visitors can also take advantage of being so close to the United States — Boundary Bay is one of the few places in the world where swimmers can be in two countries at once.
