The news is… probably not much of a surprise, really: Vancouver is the world’s third-most-liveable city, according to the annual survey by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Let’s face it, this is hardly the first time we’ve ranked in the top three of these sorts of polls! Indeed, the top 65 remained exactly the same as from six months ago.
Canada, though, can probably lay claim to being the most liveable country with three cities — Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary — in the top five.
Melbourne and the Austrian capital Vienna are the two upstarts keeping us from top spot, and crime and congestion are where we fall down.
