Cosy or cramped? Affordable or laughable? Not surprisingly, views are split on plans to build Canada’s tiniest condos in Surrey.
Developer Tien Sher has submitted to Surrey City Council plans for 56 condos measuring 290 square feet as part of its Balance project. Speaking with our sister publication, The Surrey Now, Charan Sethi, president of Tien Sher, said the price of these “functional homes” will start at $109,900 but “may come down.”
“If you can afford the $6,000 down payment, and you make a salary of $17 per hour, we have a home for you.”
