#Snowmageddon Blankets the Lower Mainland

Earlier this week high tides swamped Kits beach and crashed over Stanley Park's seawall. Then there were a couple of hailstorms dropping pea-sized ice bombs. Now #snowmageddon has struck. Clearly the Myans were right. (Irony alert).

We rounded up some of your lovely photos from Twitter to celebrate the Lower Mainland's first snowfall, an annual event that gives the rest of the country a cheap laugh at our expense. Take a look below!
