Vancouver-based Real Estate Weekly Newspaper, Canada’s leading residential real estate publication since 1978, is proud to announce the launch of its long-awaited Chinese language edition.
It is a move applauded by Chinese business and cultural leaders, who note that newcomers from China will be well served by this latest Real Estate Weekly improvement.
“We have been working on this special Real Estate Weekly edition for months,” said REW publisher Debbie Ho-McKay, who shares a Chinese heritage with an estimated 30 per cent of Lower Mainland residents.
“Our new Chinese Real Estate Weekly issue continues our commitment to be a comprehensive source for residential real estate in the region,” Ho-McKay said.
Each week more than 430,000 Real Estate Weeklies are delivered to homes across the Lower Mainland, from Vancouver to Chilliwack, in 13 separate community publications.
As well as thousands of property listings, Real Estate Weekly presents news and information from the front line of the housing market.
The new Chinese language edition will be available free at more than 300 key locations, with boxes at Skytrain stations, busy retail locations, leading grocery stores, selected retail outlets, restaurants, libraries and community recreation centres.
In addition, every major real estate company in the Lower Mainland will have the new Chinese language edition of Real Estate Weekly available in their busy offices.
The Chinese edition can also be viewed through REW.CA, the popular online version of Real Estate Weekly Newspaper.
A spokesman for the Chinese Real Estate Professionals Association of B.C welcomed this “new information source for our multicultural real estate community.”
“A Real Estate Weekly in the Chinese language would be a plus for the Chinese community and a great benefit to newcomers seeking a home in Metro Vancouver,” said Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S., one of B .C.’s biggest social service agencies providing services for new Canadians.
