Alberta-born rock singer and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's former Abbotsford home is a rural delight. According to a Narcity report, the How You Remind Me singer spent over $1 million extensively renovating the home, currently listed at over $8.8 million.

The current listing of this home has been marketed for 252 days, and that's after the home was taken off the MLS(r) last year before being re-listed in February this year. The property also has a history of being a tough sell.

We're not sure why, as this six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home boasts amazing mountain views, its own indoor hockey rink, deluxe horse barn with riding ring, guest house and a beautiful pool. The interior of the home features a luxurious rustic design throughout, with plenty of high-end wood finishings and vaulted beam ceilings.

Take a tour with us as we explore Kroeger's former BC playground.

The entrance to the home reminds of Paris' Arc de Triomphe

While only one of several bedrooms in the home, this one surely does not disappoint

Or perhaps some swimming in this amazing pool?

If none of those work, there's always the horse barn with private arena

Personally, we'd be more than happy admiring this view all day long
