New phase of residential development offers affordable homes with resort-style amenities in fast-growing city

In the heart of Surrey – one of the fastest-growing cities in the Lower Mainland – PCI Group unveils its second phase of development in the mixed-use community of King George Hub.

This dynamic and emerging metropolis is the 12th largest city in the country and the second largest in the province. Business Review Canada named Surrey the best place to invest in Western Canada. Over and over again, major business reports, magazines and newspapers state that Surrey offers the best real estate investment in the province.

“Surrey is very important to the future of Greater Vancouver,” says Andrew Grant, president of PCI Developments. “As the fastest-growing community in the region, it is the place of choice for those who want to live on the south side of the Fraser River.”

Surrey is also one of the best-connected cities in the Lower Mainland. Located in the heart of the Surrey City Centre, at the corner of King George Boulevard and Fraser Highway, this prime location sits next to King George SkyTrain station, making this community easily accessible from anywhere in the Lower Mainland.

King George Hub is only 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver, in an emerging neighbourhood, close to great shopping, restaurants, Surrey Central City mall, parks and hiking trails.

King George Hub will feature two contemporary towers, with a retail component on the ground level. The first tower consists of 39 storeys, featuring a collection of 434 contemporary homes, some featuring mountain views towards the north and views of the city.

With prices starting from $299,900, King George Hub is perfect for students, couples, professionals and young families, and everyone in between. The first tower is a collection of one- and two-bedroom homes, ranging from 443 to 809 square feet, all of which come with laminate hardwood flooring throughout and balconies. The functional kitchens are sleek and subtle with touches of luxury, including integrated refrigerators and dishwashers, induction cook top and quartz countertops, while the bathrooms will have a feature wall showcased by simulated wood on the tiles and quartz countertops.

Meanwhile, owners have exclusive resort-style amenities, including the 39th-floor rooftop entertainment lounge, with sweeping view of the Fraser Valley. The second floor amenities room will feature a spacious games room, lounge with banquette seating and bar top, expansive social lounge with fireplace, theatre room, and two private dining rooms that can host up to 10 people (includes full-sized fridge and cooktop). For the health enthusiast, the space will be outfitted with a fully equipped fitness and yoga studio. Outside, residents will enjoy a barbecue terrace and children’s play area.

For more than 35 years, PCI Developments has been a pioneer in developing complete urban communities at major transit locations or emerging neighbourhoods. They build vibrant neighbourhoods where homebuyers can live, work, shop, play and take transit, all within the same block.

King George Hub’s Presentation Centre and show homes are opening late October.

Now previewing starting on Thursday, October 26th, 2017.
