Single-family transactions in the Valley were down in October year over year, but townhome and condo sales remained bullish and all property types saw higher sales than in slow September, according to figures released by the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board November 2.
As the sales rallied but listings slowed, the market moved back into giving advantage to sellers, after having been more balance the previous month.
Like in Greater Vancouver, benchmark home prices in the Valley were a smidge lower than the previous month but still way up on the same time a year ago, in every category.
However, some cities and neighbourhoods in the region saw bigger sales and price declines, which were offset by rises in other areas.
